چکیده

Background: A number of blood count parameters are associated with inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. There is discordant evidence whether neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-to-lymphocyte (PLR) mean platelet volume (MPV) might reflect response have prognostic value in SLE patients. However, the studies examining potential role these markers LN missing. Objectives: To examine NLR, PLR MPV at time biopsy patients evaluate their association prognosis. Methods: In this retrospective study we analyzed demographic, histologic, laboratory clinical characteristics biopsy-proven diagnosed between 2011 2020. All met 1997 revised American College Rheumatology classification criteria for SLE. Complete remission was defined as proteinuria <0.5 g/day serum creatinine within 10% from baseline, partial more than 50% reduction to sub-nephrotic levels baseline. Results: We included 55 (80% women) (age 38±13 years). On renal histology, one patient class I LN, two were II, 7 III, 5 III+V, 23 IV, IV+V, 11 VI 4 had other features. Median baseline NLR 3.64 (IQR: 1.85, 6.93), 167 116, 300) 10.0 9.2, 10.8). no differences any three different classess (all p>0.05). Eighteen achieved complete (CR), 16 21 did not achieve remission. None progressed ESRD died, both sepsis. group which CR/PR vs. p>0.05; Figure 1). constructed a thorough multivariate regression model showed that neither or predictors LN. Reference Values of Neutrophil-Lymphocyte Ratio, Platelet-Lymphocyte Ratio and Mean Platelet Volume in Healthy Adults in North Central Nigeria

Background: Recently, Neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), Platelet-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) and Mean platelet volume (MPV) have become increasingly useful as predictive and prognostic tools in patients with various medical conditions. To make for easy interpretation and application, the reference values of these parameters in healthy adults need to be established in our environment. Objectives: To...

Platelet-to-Lymphocyte Ratio

Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) is a life-threatening acute complication of diabetes mellitus and the novel systemic inflammation marker platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) may be associated with clinical outcome in patients with DKA. This study aimed to investigate the utility of PLR in predicting 90-day clinical outcomes in patients with DKA. Patient data exacted from the Multiparameter Intelligen...
